8.8 Huge quake rocks Chile

Over 700 dead (reported by MSNBC.com)
We are only weeks beyond the Haiti 7.0 magnitude earthquake and here another massive quake rocks another part of the world. Shortly after the 8.8 in Chile, a 6.3 hit Argentina.
Along with this devastation there was also tsunami warning for the Pacific nations. The death toll at the time of this writing is reported to be more than 200 and expected to climb.
If you are skeptical about the 2012 phenomenon, this would seem to help support the ideas behind it!
So what do you think? Are we heading for the end of the world?
Keep in mind that this area is considered the worlds most geological active location. They have earthquakes, period!
